We successfully reduced radon levels in our own home
It all started with the purchase of an old house that needed a thorough renovation. At the time, no one mentioned that radon could be a problem. We only learned about it later, when the house was already completely opened up – radon was then freely escaping from the rooms.
Nevertheless, we decided to do an initial measurement. We completely sealed one room and conducted a test. The results were not within normal limits. We decided to take action: a ventilation system with passive draw was installed beneath the foundation slab.
It turned out that passive draw was not effective enough, so we added a fan to enable active ventilation. This allowed us to achieve normal radon concentrations and create a safer living environment.
Our mission is to help people understand the risks posed by radon and to find appropriate solutions. The first and most important step? Measurement.
