Take care of your health – measure radon in time.

More and more homeowners and businesses are recognizing the hidden risks of radon, especially in modern energy-efficient buildings. With growing awareness, radon measurement is becoming a standard step toward creating a healthier living environment.

Did you know that long-term exposure to 150 Bq/m³ of radon is comparable to smoking eight cigarettes a day?

The good news is that more and more people are taking proactive measures to ensure safe indoor air.

RadonBlue is a specialized company for radon measurements, as well as rental and sales of reliable radon detectors. We help you detect dangerous radon levels in your house, apartment, or workplace, and advise on effective solutions. We operate throughout Europe, offering a personal approach and fast results.

👉  Why is this important?
Radon is a radioactive gas without smell or color, proven to increase the risk of lung cancer. Regular measurement is the only way to act in time.

Our main services:
✅ Conducting radon measurements
✅ Sale of tested radon detectors (RadonEye and others)
✅ Rental of detectors for short-term or long-term monitoring
✅ Advice on mitigation, ventilation, and remediation measures

💡 Our story
RadonBlue was born from a personal experience when, during a home renovation, we discovered excessively high radon levels. Since then, we have been helping others achieve a safer living environment – quickly, professionally, and reliably.

Don’t wait – measure radon today!

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.

Since 1 in 15 homes is affected and radon levels constantly change, continuous monitoring is essential for safety.

Description

EcoQube Flex is a portable, battery-powered radon monitor with a precise pulsed ionization chamber. Because it needs neither a power socket nor Wi-Fi, you can place it anywhere – in the basement, a bedroom or a holiday home. Insert the batteries and it starts measuring automatically, showing the first reading on the display after 10–15 minutes. It is ideal for testing a house or apartment room by room, before buying a property, or for checking how well radon mitigation has worked.

Key advantages:

  • No cables: runs on two AA batteries – up to 7 years without app connection, or about 2 years with regular syncing.
  • Everything on the display: the always-on e-ink screen shows the current level, averages, and the highest and lowest values for the selected period – you can spot night-time peaks without your phone.
  • Fast results: first reading after 10–15 minutes, a reliable result within the first hour.
  • High accuracy: patented pulsed ionization chamber, the same technology as in the EcoQube (±10% at 370 Bq/m³ after 10 hours).
  • Room-by-room comparison: save results for each room, floor or building separately in the app and compare them – for example, your basement in winter and in summer.
  • Audible alarm: sounds when the level exceeds your set threshold (by default 300 Bq/m³ for Europe, matching the EU and Slovenian reference level). The color scale on the display flags values above the 100 Bq/m³ reference level recommended by the WHO.

Good to know:

  • Placement: at least 50 cm above the floor and 1 m from windows and doors, away from vents, kitchens and bathrooms. Let it measure for 2–7 days in each room before moving it.
  • No remote access: without Wi-Fi, data transfers to the app via Bluetooth when your phone is nearby. For remote monitoring, choose the EcoQube.
  • Official measurements: EcoQube Flex is designed for private radon monitoring. Legally required measurements (e.g. in workplaces) must be carried out by an authorized provider – ask us about passive Radtrak3® detectors.

Technical specifications:

  • Sensor type: pulsed ionization chamber
  • Sensitivity: 30 counts/h at 37 Bq/m³
  • Accuracy: ±10% at 370 Bq/m³ after 10 hours (95% confidence level)
  • Measurement range: 7–3,700 Bq/m³
  • Update interval: every 10 minutes (60-minute rolling average)
  • Display modes: real-time, 24 h, 72 h, 7 days, 30 days, long-term average
  • Display: always-on e-ink, units Bq/m³ or pCi/L

We successfully reduced radon levels in our own home

It all started with the purchase of an old house that needed a thorough renovation. At the time, no one mentioned that radon could be a problem. We only learned about it later, when the house was already completely opened up – radon was then freely escaping from the rooms.

Nevertheless, we decided to do an initial measurement. We completely sealed one room and conducted a test. The results were not within normal limits. We decided to take action: a ventilation system with passive draw was installed beneath the foundation slab.

It turned out that passive draw was not effective enough, so we added a fan to enable active ventilation. This allowed us to achieve normal radon concentrations and create a safer living environment.

Our mission is to help people understand the risks posed by radon and to find appropriate solutions. The first and most important step? Measurement.
